Have yet to find mine!
That's cool Dave. I don't have mine either.
Out of curiosity I just searched for stamps issued on my birthday, June 1st. 1946, general search did not give anything specific, but Duck AI came up with 4 suggestions, all of which were incorrect.
Do people really think AI is going to be better than a human?

January 17, 1972! With the help of Colnect, I was able to identify the Three countries which issued stamps that day, and my spouse got them for me on my 50th birthday! Dutch Antilles (6 values), Greece (7 values) and State of Qatar (4 stamps and a Souvenir Sheet celebrating One year of independence)

Recently I have been researching cinderella stamps with image search, which Google and other search engines insist should be combined with AI information. Unfortunately it is more miss than hit. I use a Dutch auction site a lot and it also has an option to use AI to create auction listings. This should be efficient, at least that is the idea, but most of the time the texts produced are over the top, superficial and downright laughable. Things like "this is a green stamp that shows a person. It is a wonderful addition to the collection of any stamp collector looking for green stamps"...
i doubt AI is going away. it can be helpful. and it's often trash. I doubt it will be abandoned.
Just to be clear, I haven't yet found my birth year. I'm collecting October 7 cancels for every year since dated cancels began in 1844. I can tell you it's much harder than I thought!
As for AI, I never use it. I write a little and would much rather do the research myself.
I am glad to know I am not the only one who looks for birthdays. I have a small page going in a stock book with family and friend's birthdays in them. One day I will show them their "collection". I have also yet to find mine on my birth year. December 31, 1972 was a Sunday, so it adds a degree of difficulty.
"I have also yet to find mine on my birth year. December 31, 1972 was a Sunday, so it adds a degree of difficulty."

I read somewhere about a collector who was trying to get postmarks for every day of the year. Even the holidays exist with post marks, supposedly! That would be a huge job to take on considering many post marks are unreadable.
EDIT: Years ago mail seemed to move 24/7 and postmarks were added at each stop along the way! I would think Feb 29th would be hard to find!!
Dave,
What birth year are you looking for? I will keep my eyes on the lookout. My BD is 1 January and I have several post marks with that date. Many of them, thanks to my friend David Pangborn.
In response to PostmasterFlash:
Using the same method I did for my birthday, I found this in Colnect! A fellow collector born in 1972 - me in January, him on the last day of that wonderful year!

Sunday is a regular work day in most countries of the world! Not sure about population numbers, but most people in Asia and Africa don't have New Year's Eve off! Thus, Turkey DID issue a stamp on that day!
Happy Collecting!

I'm not alone in collecting birthday stamps, but this is my new favourite. It sounds like a heavy metal festival, but it's actually the northernmost town in the world. (seller's image)
