This should help if you do not have the Unitrade catalog:

Jansimon,
Thanks for posting that link. After years of keeping my Canada stamps in a drawer, I had recently pulled them out and began to sort them using the Scott catalog from the library. Ha, that was a frustrating education when I figured out that they don't bother to put pictures of all the stamps in the catalog. I had found a couple other websites but this one is the best so far. It has been fun starting another country, and this will definitely help.

Its true, the Scott catalog is just a generic thing..not for specializing !!
An article in a recent Canadian Stamp News on the wildlife definitives of 1987-1991 caught my interest and i was wondering how i could identify the different types of paper used. I found my answer in the Unitrade Specialized Catalog..now to find a bag of them from some closet somewhere and try to id the different papers..a new challenge for me. The Canadian Stamp News and Unitrade catalogs in slightly used condition are all gifts from the generous folks "Up North".
