The entire collection with additional bonus: a few regional Galapagos stamps
Here are two more of Tierra del Fuego SG 1:

with the imprint of the printer, Juan H. Kidd of Buenos Aires.
I see a distinct difference in the perforation. No idea what that means though. As far as I am concerned, the number of stamps for Tierra del Fuego is still 1.
Hi Jansimon. I agree.
There seems to be a large number of reprints but I'm not aware of any forgeries.
I also have a block of four and a single that I bought many years ago from Stanley Gibbons when they still held a worldwide stock and these are in a slightly darker shade.
I expect all of mine are reprints but I don't know for sure.
Some years ago someone posted a summary of information on the plate varieties of this issue on StampBears but sadly didn't give the source for the information.
I can allocate my examples to the twelve types shown in that post but that doesn't help with deciding whether they are originals or reprints.
I always thought it was neat that SG gave Tierra del Fuego a full country listing in SG Part 20 South America (although not in its simplified Stamps of the World).

Saw this on E-Bay, twelve types are mentioned.
Twelve types, more like repeated plate errors.
I read about this in a very interesting specialized publication here:

Thanks for sharing this Jansimon!
I've saved the document for future reference.
However, it's already answered several long-standing questions I had about this issue.
For a start, it's great to able to tie my marginal pair to a specific position in the plate.
Thank you for creating this thread. This issue has been a favourite of mine for years.
I need one of these!
Easy to flyspeck when there is only one stamp to do such!
Also kept the doc!

Thankyou for the document
Has anyone got a used one?
I have often wondered what would be the shortest complete country collection?
I thought I had it in Kionga, but then, is there a smaller one? (local mail not counted)

rrr...
Terra del Fuego is not listed as a country in Scott. (Or anywhere else?)
It is in Stanley Gibbons.
Cordoba, the Argentinian province may not have been an independent country, but there have been stamps issued for it and there are only 2!
Listed in Scott.
Now I want a Tierra Del Fuego Stamp!

As a stamp collector, the aim is to complete collections and this is an easy one: there is only one stamp from Tierra del Fuego and I have it :-)
Yes, I know, one could go for varieties and the difference between the real thing and various forgeries but I do not bother with that. I have that one single stamp issued in 1891 to pay for mail transport for the goldrush area of Tierra del Fuego ("Fireland") and Chile / Argentina.
