Here's the envelope N and page 1 of 2 of the voter's list.

EDIT: There were 180 names on the voter's list for this region. Out of this 147 voted (82%). PC (George Oliver Lohnes) 86 votes, Lib (Leon Iversen) 60 votes and 1 spoiled ballot. This is probably of no interest but I just decided to throw it in!!
Joe, have you checked the Webb's Postal Stationery Catalogue of Canada to see if it has been listed there?
Maybe someone has a copy of the latest 8th edition of Webb's Postal Stationery Catalogue of Canada and could look it up?
Just trying to assist!

...also that is a nice item for your collection!

"Joe, have you checked the Webb's Postal Stationery Catalogue of Canada to see if it has been listed there?"

Thanks Bob, the effort was appreciated. I guess the mystery will go on for a bit longer!!
It still might be nice to find a copy of the book to add to my library!!

I'll post a picture tomorrow but I just thought I'd give a heads up first. I've had this item for a while and it appears to be a specially made envelope used for mailing out voter's lists for National Elections. The blurb at the upper left says:
ENVELOPE N / If not delivered within two days/ RETURN TO/ the Returning Officer for the/ Electoral District of / Lun. Centre
As I said, I'll post a picture tomorrow evening, the voter's list for Lunenburg Centre is included.
At the bottom of the envelope it says: "WARNING:- This envelope can only be used for the transmission to various electors of a printed copy of the list of electors for the appropriate poling division". It was for the 1963 federal election won by the Liberals over the Conservatives, Social Credit and New Democrats.

Here's an interesting quote I found from R. N. Thompson, the leader of the Social Credit Party. "The Americans are our best friends, whether we like it or not."
EDIT: The older editions of Unitrade have a section on election envelopes but don't refer to anything called envelope N. The ones there are given a "UO" code and do not show up in my 2023 edition on Unitrade. It looks like I'd better hold onto my 2015 edition. Another book is mentioned that I don't have - Webb's Postal Stationary Catalogue of Canada and Newfoundland. Does any one out there have a copy of this book that they'd like to pass on? There are a couple on E-Bay, depending on how the strike "unfolds", if it does!
