You were in the right direction, only in the wrong corner... the RF on stamps C5-8 is at the bottom corners in the diamond shape. On the Vichy version, this has been omitted.

Thank you so much. I would never have found that tiny little diamond in corner. And as it turns out, I already had all the stamps. Now to find the Vichy ones just to fill in those blanks. It's so nice to have "experts" available in the wings to solve all our problems!!!

I'm having trouble figuring out whether Scott # C5-C8 are any different from the Scott Vichy # 23e--23l. I see stamps on Hipstamp and Stamps2go for C5-C8 but they look identical to the Vichy stamps. Do the Scott C5-8 not have RF in upper left corner and have "poste Afrienne" instead. Or is there a difference between the Scott C5-8 and Scott C23a-23l which I just don't see. Please your advice.
