I've never seen one but they must be revenue stamps. Good luck!

I figured they were revenue stamps - but I have never seen them before. They are Portugal revenues with the Cape Verde overprint. I took a chance to post them here in case anyone has seen them before - even without the Cape Verde overprint on them.. Thanks, Steve

I used to have a very large collection of Portuguese Colonies stamps and I thought I have seen them all over the years. I sold off that collection years ago on SOR and Hipstamp. Anyway, I just acquired a small collection of Portuguese Colonies stamps and I saw these 2 Portugal stamps overprinted Cape Verde which I never have seen before. Does anyone know anything about them - they are not in Scott. Thanks, Steve
