


As far as I can see here, Scott B8 / B8a (Danzig Philatelic Exhibition 1929) have a colour difference. In Michel there are three (!) different types, 219 a, b and c.
I think that the only way to tell them apart is by seeing them next to eachother, like you request.
Michel does have an interesting remark that translates as follows:
Due to the sulphuric acid-containing gum, strong discolouration occurs, especially in Mi.Nr 219

I found the 3 color variants (a,b and c) on a sales site and grouped them with the colors from the Michel Color Guide (sorry but they are taken with the phone camera)

Maybe a strange request, but need help. If anyone has Danzig B8 and B8a (Scott #), believe the Michael number for the B8a is Mi.NR219b, can you please post a picture of both stamp side by side.
