The base stamp is Turkey A43. But Scott does not list any overprints that match. Thrace looks like the best option, but nothing showing in Scott. But you probably that much. Nice stamps, looking forward to the expert's thoughts.
I have some of these as well and just put them with the Greek occupation of Thrace. The words mean Greek administration. This evening I will check my Vlastos Greek catalogue, perhaps it has some info.
thank you kindly for your responses...capetown
The Vlastos catalogue has over 50 pages dedicated to the Elliniki Dioikisis overprints, but nothing about these overprints being used on Turkish stamps. There is one vague hint: a warning that many forgeries and falsifications exist and one should be careful buying rare items without a certificate.
So unless someone can find a listing, I think these are fantasy (friendly term) or falsification (more accurately)
I checked my ISFILA Turkish catalog, which lists many types of very specialized o/p types, but there is nothing remotely similar to this.
From the inscription It does seem to be Thrace related.
But the Turkish (Isfila # 881) stamp dates back to 1917, so I wonder if it is a WWI related overprint for red cross or refugee or war orphans? And Note that Thrace was, Greece, Turkey and Bulgaria divided in this time frame, but I am guessing Greece if one has to look anywhere in particular..

Hi capetown,
My Vlastos catalogue lists these as a private edition at the end of their Thrace listings and says they (and other similar sets) are known as the "Redestos issue".
I guess "private edition" here is a polite way of saying "bogus".
The Hellas catalogue describes them as an unofficial issue that was unauthorised.
These eight stamps were printed in a "sheetlet", i.e. se-tenant block, four across, two down, without margins.
There were four similar sets:
1. With surcharges like this but on the similar 2 paras violet stamp.
2. This set on the 5 paras stamp.
3. With surcharges like this on the already surcharged 5 paras on 1 para red stamp from the 1917 issue.
4. With surcharges like this on the already surcharged 2 paras on 1 para red stamp from the 1918 issue.
Thanks for posting these. I hadn't seen them before except in the catalogues.
Nigel, what edition of Vlastos do you have? Mine is older, 2003, and I could not find anything about this issue you mentioned. Bogus is probably the best description.
Mine is 2005, so just two years later.
Can't seem to find these greek overprints. Would appreciate some help in identifying them...maybe they are cinderellas and not postage stamps?
Looks like stamps from Turkey overprints...capetown
