


Not known for certain, but possibly an underprint similar to those of the UK Machins. They probably show on mint stamps but will wash off of used.
Edit, it is a blue flourescent pattern under the gum.

I thought it may be something like that due to the colour ,but wasn't sure as there is no mention of it in any of my catalogues. As this is the only stamp in the set I have I couldn't check it any others. Thanks for your input.

So, I see that the small print in the posting by Tobbe656 the Michel catalog lists the particulars of the set as having 'Paper with matt blue rosettes on the back' (Papier mit ruckseitigen mattblauen Rosetten).
Maybe' some of the other catalogue producers are not as diligent as Michel? Stanley Gibbons SOTW is an example a country can list 2 sets of stamps same design but years apart and they lump them all together under the first issue.
