It worked for me, but I did get some warnings about many cookies and hidden traffic to other sites without proper certificates.
Sounds very interesting, and a welcome guide to a plethora of worldwide philatelic web-sites. On the other hand, I think I will wait until all the issues mentioned by Jansimon are reported "fixed", before I visit the site.
Sounds like a monumental task, to connect so many sites from so many countries into one. Must be many obstacles to overcome before the site is running smoothly and securely.
I doubt this will happen. I may sound negative, but I think this is a site where you, as the visitor, are the merchandise. It may very well be the traffic is your browsing history etc. being transported elsewhere to the highest bidder so that you get more targeted ads. If it weren't for Bitdefender, I had not noticed anything.
Received notification from my monthly Journal of Texas Philately & Postal History of a new website called Philately.Live. I visited and looks like it may be promising in some ways. Their goal:
"Philately Live is a world wide mapping of the entire worldwide Philatelic Community. It contains all the Societies, Organizations, Foundations, Clubs, Auctions, Dealers, Marketplaces, Publications, Stamp Issuing entities, Stamp Shows and Exhibits, and Museums. It gives you access to auction calendars, dealer offerings, calendars of events, and more. Whether you're interested in publications, postal authorities, shows, exhibits, or museums – we've got it all covered!
In a world with thousands of stamp collecting websites, you might be thinking, "Do we really need another one?" We understand your skepticism, but we invite you to look closer because "Philately.live" isn't just another website—it's the much-needed hub that keeps the global philatelic community connected. Our mission is not to recreate content but to build connections."
Might want to check it out.
Edit: Not sure why the link is not working. Just type Philately.Live in your browser and it should come up. Or maybe the web master can fix. Thanks.
