Short of someone going through a modern catalogue this site will probably be a good bet. Use the advanced search and the Religion category.

Thanks Sheepshanks.
That will save me a lot of looking. It's still a lot of work, but I now know where I'll be spending online time for the next week or so.
Mikey
I think an advanced search on Colnect might help get you there too.
I was logged on as a member (free), and was able to pull together this search. A quick glance looks like they're in issue date order, but I didn't check very carefully. The 'Sn' number is the Scott number.
If it doesn't look right to you, you may need to create an account and view it once you're logged in.

Thanks Philatarium,
I've used Colnect but not with that search method. I learn something new every day around here.

The easiest way to go here
https://stampsmarter.org/features/Id_US_ ...
Click on the Tab named 'Search Keywords'. By chance, the page defaults with 'Christmas' already entered. You will see a number of pages with every US Christmas stamp up through about 2017 (210 US Christmas found and listed in seconds).
Don
Stamp Smarter database of all US and Canadian stamps supports keyword(s) searches and many other ways to quickly find what folks are looking for. It is free in every way, including not selling your personal information like many of the other supposedly 'free' website that often get linked (like Colnect). It is rare to find a truly free website these days, Colnect and other like them are selling your info. There is rarely a 'free lunch' online.
now I have three great sources.
Thanks Don
Very nice database Don!
Last season I had a guy contact my eBay store and ask me to pick out a collection of Christmas first day covers to give as a gift to his daughter. He admitted to knowing exactly nothing but wanted to surprise her. Like anyone else here would do, I was pleased to help him. Often hobby gifts from non-hobbyists can be a disaster! He was pleased and he contacted me again after Christmas to say his daughter was surprised and pleased! Made my day!
Based on that experience I pulled every Christmas first day cover from all my inventory boxes and listed them. They've been selling at a mad clip, almost all gone at this point. I don't know if these were to be Christmas gifts or collectors were just in the season. This gave me an appreciation for the US Christmas stamps from 1963 to date. A wide variety of nice designs!
From what I saw, Colnect lists 870 issues.
Yes Al, you have successfully disputed me once again, congrats. The delta is that Colnect counts every single variety, subvariety in their count while Stamp Smarter count only contains major numbers and only goes through 2017 as I noted in my post. I assumed that a topical collector might not want to collect 8 different tagged, untagged, booklet format, pane format of eh same design the US published. I also assumed that folks might not want to allow Colnect to collect and sell their information. Stupid me.
Is your Moderator strategy of challenging everything I post an attempt to run me out of this community? I can assist you with that; I'll leave here and you leave SCF. Does that work for you?
Don
I posted as a collector not as a moderator. When I am in moderator mode, I usually indicate it.
I went to Colnect to see for myself to see (personal curiousity and validate the link as a moderator) and made a post since I like Christmas as a topic. I was going to check ATA to see how many they list.
I do not see how what I said was against anything you stated in your post.
Moderator comment: Unlike SCF, SOR does not ban the mention of Colnect. You are free to post negative comments about Colnect if you like as long it is in moderation.
I am unsure why you mention Colnect ban on SCF, I have zero to do with any website being banned on SCF. Bobby has his own reasons for doing what he does and he banned them when they repeated broke the rules by spamming SCF and then trying to dodge the ban. I assume that if they did this here they would also be banned,
But back to the issue at hand, I have no idea what your intentions are. What I do know is what I feel as a member here and that is that you are playing games and are pushing back against my posts. If you want to ignore what I feel and justify it in your mind than is up to you. I know you are clever enough to thinly veil your intentions and make sure you have an ‘out’. And it is my belief that no one wants to see you and I yapping at each other. It is not healthy for either community. It is toxic, just like the Delphi forum when you and Ken L. go back and forth with each other.
I am offering a solution; you go your way and I will go my way. Yes or No?
Don
Don,
I would hate to see you leave stamporama, you have so much information to share. I do know where to find you if you do decide to leave.
Vince
Don, it is your decision to stay or go unless you break the rules. This applies to anyone.
This thread needs to back on topic.
Don I hope you decide to stay.
Do not let what others say bother you.
You will be missed by many people.
Moderator:
Don the discussion is over. Please move on. The topic is still open to continue the original topic - stamp lists.
Understood. I am leaving here and you are no longer welcome on SCF.
Don
Watching a discussion turn in some kind of boxing match on a schoolyard and I can't help but wonder: why? What the **** just happened?
No right, no wrong and only losers in the end. The questions besides the why should be was it worth it and was it necessary. If you allow me to answer for the two of you: no and no.
It is so wrong that this was allowed to happen, when one is the moderator.
We need all the members not chase them away.
If this is how a moderator handles messages then who wants to be a member .
We can't afford to lose good people like Don! I almost left myself a couple days ago and then realized how useful this site has been for my stamp collection and how much I still enjoy checking in with SOR on a regular basis. It's easy to take offence and then do something we would regret later, it's harder to back up and rethink things!
As I wind down on a few of my other projects I was looking for a new endeavor. Since I'm not prepared to delve into worldwide I decided it would be fun to assemble an album of Christmas related stamps from the USA.
First I must create a list of stamps, then find pictures and sizes, and finally create the album.
I was hoping to be lazy and find a list someone else has already assembled that they are willing to send me. I'm OK up until 2002 but my Scott catalog ends in that year.
Thanks,
Mikey
