I just received an order and payment amounting to $125 for one stamp. After high fiving myself, I noticed the buyer has literally just joined Hipstamp and has no feedback yet. While I have no solid reason for my antenna going up, I'm a bit wary.

Any advice? Mail requiring signature etc? BTW, it is a US buyer.

What is your normal procedure when / if selling such an expensive item? I suppose the buyer always pays in advance and I can also imagine that shipping registered/insured is part of the deal. If so, there shouldn't be anything to worry about, right? Everybody starts at 0 at some point and as long as you build in some safety, what could go wrong?

Update....buyer is in Washington state. got lucky and quickly found him on FB. Long time Coast Guard career. Sent him a message and he confirmed buying. Going to add tracking to it anyway. Not that I'm still wary, but I think I will do this with sales of $100 and above starting now.
