Not long now, wonder if I've been naughty or nice. Have to dig out the stocking and hanger.
Enjoy looking at all the cards, thanks.
I like them too.
And here are some german ones...
Those are great Santas...my wife only does Sinterklaas ...i guess Santa never brought her anything.
Well Philb especially for you and your wife :
I just wanna say I'm really enjoying this post. These cards are neat!
Hi Musicman:
Re: the different Santa costumes, while not a post card, here's a patriotic cover by the Porto-Server Co., of Chicago sold during the WW II years of Santa in an Army olive drab uniform. There is also one with Santa in Navy blue, but I haven't been successful in acquiring it yet.

Thanks, Vinman.

What a pleasure it was to see all of those beautiful postcards. Thanks to all that showed their cards.

I like the Sinterklaas / Sint Nicolaas cards, but to be honest, I can't recall ever having seen one let alone received one. I also have a few collections of old cards kept by my parents and grandparents and among all the birthday and christmas cards I have not seen anything like this.
How old are these cards? Looking at the designs I would guess 1930s, but the photo cards look much more recent.
JanSimon, The photocards are mostly from the sixties. (1967, 1968)
Here is a Power Point presentation I presented to "The Philatelic Gathering", a group of collectors that meets every third Saturday at The Chester County Historical Society in West Chester , PA.

I tried to upload the presentaion on Stamporam's exhibit page but it won't load. I guess it's because it is a Power Point presentation not individual pages.

So -
Thanks to member Vinman posting numerous Santa Claus postcard pics in the recent past here, I have since found myself looking for them at stamp shows.
I'm intrigued by the depiction of S. Claus' different colored suits!
So here are the ones I found at the G.A.S.S. in Cleveland a few weeks back;
This last one I chose only because I like the Christmas Seal placed on the picture side that is used for the correct year in the postmark on the other side:
