Never heard of him. Do you have more similar covers addressed to Klein?

No idea if this is the same person, but could be possible.
Jansimon.
Yes, here's one..

No, it's not the stalingrad guy...
Do not know the guy either....
But on another forum I found this :
"Can't find anything on this mr Erich Klein, but he was either a collector or a dealer, seeing the amount of philatelic covers with his preprinted address that pop-up in a Google search"
So there was an earlier attempt to get info of him.
And indeed there are a lot of covers appearing when you search his name.
Germany Deutsch Dienstpost Adria Fiume 12.12.44 Putsch Franking Cover.
This cover was probably prepared for a stamp dealer in German--Erich Klein located in Dresden.
A few months later Dresden was firebombed for three days by the Allies.
The enveloppe is time correct, has a blue diagonal cross on the front side (see my earlier posts about that)
I still am wondering about this guy, especially because I never heard from him before.
He must have been a dealer, in a different league than Karl Hennig but still. I read somewhere that unopened empty covers exist with so-called Schwärzungen on them. If those aren't philatelic creations, what is?
Musicman,
You saw the cancellation of the letter "Postamt Pillnitz Museum" (post office pillnitz museum)
This letter was send from the museum to the Firma Erich Klein.
Erich Klein has nothing to do with the museum, which by the way is very interesting to visit if you have the opportunity (See below)
Pillnitz Castle & Park
Lightness and floral magic
At the beginning of the 18th century, August the Strong gave Pillnitz Castle to his mistress, Countess Cosel.
After he got tired of them and banished them to Stolpen Castle, the Elector had the impressive mountain and water palace built according to Pöppelmann's plans and Pillnitz became his play and pleasure palace.
Later, the Saxon court resided here in the summer. The palace ensemble, picturesquely located in the Elbe valley with its vineyards, combines baroque and Far Eastern architecture and is considered a model piece of chinoiserie.
English, Dutch and Chinese gardens invite you to take a leisurely stroll.
Exotic plants from South Africa, New Zealand and Australia give the palm house a touch of wanderlust.
A camellia that is more than 250 years old thrives in the castle park, which is protected in the winter months by an imposing and mobile glass house.
In summer, the three palaces open their doors to guests from all over the world.
Here you can explore the applied arts museum and the palace museum with the royal court kitchen, the classical domed hall and the Catholic chapel.
In winter, the Christmas Garden Dresden invites you to take a Christmassy trip.
