My google translate program gives this:
Canada The SSSC in Bridgewater, NS, on the occasion of its Stampex22 exhibition on October 29, issued a stamp with a stylized lighthouse as a tribute to the SS Lions Club. Canada Post released a duo of xegel on June 29, 2021 to celebrate 100 years of Bluenose.1921/2021.the legendary schooner. An opportunity for Peggys Point NS to issue a stamp with Peggys Cove lighthouse.
almost correct.
stempel means cancel, not stamp and where the Dutch text says "xegel" it should be "zegel", which means stamp.
with that in mind the message makes more sense. Peggys Point NS can issue a special cancel, but as far as I know is not capable of issueing a stamp.
Thankyou guys so very much
Yes Peggy`s Cove has its own cancel Most all of their cancels have the image of the lighthouse . I have the collection of their cancels from back in the early 90s. This particular cancel was a series of 7 issued by Canada Post for the 100th Anniversary of the Bluenose and is still in use. Each cancel was unique as the Bluenose was in each scene but only the lighthouse was in the Peggy`s Cove cancel.
My friend is watching for lighthouse pictorial cancels from all over the world . If you know of any please let me know and I will share with this collector.
Again Thankyou
Cheryl
Wow, Peggy's Cove
Brings back memories.
I was there 39 years ago, on the rocks near the lighttower.
I was visiting my aunt and uncle who lived nearby in Bedford N.S.
I can remember that there is a carving of some fishermen in the rocks.
I have found the video I made back then.
Here are some stills (remember the video was made 39 years ago)
I`m not sure if this is proper but our local stamp club was mentioned in a newsletter from the Netherlands
I know the idea/subject of the article but would like the proper translation to share with the SS Stamp Club members.

Jaap and I have exchanged lighthouses on stamps and lighthouses on cancels from Nova Scotia.
Many thanks Cheryl
