I looked at my copies and found that my 297 unused (the only unused) is fluorescent, while my 297, 298, & 299 used copies are all non-fluorescent. It may be that removing the stamps from the covers has eliminated the fluorescence.
Hi Dave;
I have copies of the Danish specialized catalogue at home, but alas I am overseas for another 5 days. If no one can answer your query, I'll see what information I can find for you when I get back.

I just had a look in Facit and there is no difference in value. Both types have been valued "M", meaning minimal value. As a matter of fact, the 2 kroner fluorescent has been printed twice as much as the normal paper variety but with the 1 krone it is the other way around.

Many thanks for the info. No one idea why Scotts would publish this misinformation. Guess I’ll save some time and use it for a nap today!

Here is Denmark #297. Scott has #297-299 (1, 2, 5 Kr) listed at $0.25 each but with a note that these are the values for phosphorescent stamps and "stamps on ordinary paper are valued MUCH higher" - but with no indication what that premium would be.

Does anyone have access to a specialized catalogue that would give a benchmark for the premium? Just interested to know before I start on another wild goose chase!
Many thanks, Dave.
