I thought i was bidding on a postal card mailed from the Dutch Indies..i should have looked closer..the good Pastor in Sittard used a Dutch Indies card Image Not Found

to which he affixed a Dutch stamp and mailed it to the U.S.

Oh now you are going back in time. Probably not...its a semi postal stamp...but we can find out.

It appears the Netherlands Indies card was overprinted to make it one useable in the Netherlands. As far as I know the 7 1/2 cents extra makes it the international rate.
