I have never seen anything like these, but they are very nice. Although I can't read Kanji, it appears that although the calligraphy is different, the characters seem to be the same. At least the first three...
I know nothing about Kanji at all, but using an online Kanji translator, the characters from top to bottom on the left (easy to read) stamp seem to be
Kanji 187 (same, equal)
Kanji 36 (small, minor, young) and Kanji 43 (blue, green, youth, pale)
Kanji 308 (week)
Kanji 92 (interval, space)
Strung together, the best I can come up with is Sympathy Week
Mix the options to suit yourself!
Thanks fellas.
Two of the members on The Stamp Forum posted that there was a year-end charity donation campaign called Sympathy Week done by Asahi Shinbun from 1924-1936. That’s a newspaper in Tokyo.
I’m 95% certain these are Japanese, but that’s all I know. Any ideas? Thanks!
