The bi-colour was issued in 1954, the grey (which has a number of shades) in 1956. I can't see clearly from your pic, but the grey seems to have the re-entry variety around the value.
These are two seperate issues and are both very very common.
According to colnect it should be Yvert # 89 or 89a
Many thanks all for your inputs and explanations
I re-checked my Yvert catalogue, the bistre-yellow & gray is Yv N° 79 and found the gray as N° 89.
Many thanks all
Hello,
The slate-violet 2d re-entry is SG #72c ca. Value is 38.00 Pounds. Nice find!
Thanks Paul for SG cat value, however is it possible that from catalogue to catalogue the value change highly
Yvert catalogue list this stamps at 4,00€ MNH and 1,00€ used, then SG list it at £ 38,00 ???
The re-entry variety is £38, not the basic stamp
I found in a box of stmaps these two Nigerian stamps
I am quite confused if it is a variety of color or another issue, I found on Yvert & Tellier the Bistre-yellow & gray color but not the gray one
Many thanks for your input
