In the past I have had some difficulties with letters to India and Greece. Significantly more letters were lost than those shipped to other countries. So I am reluctant to send stuff over there and when I can not avoid it, I try to make the letter look as bland as possible (no fancy commemorative stamps) and as flat as I can get it. The letters to India I disguised as business letters with printed labels and a fake company name as sender.
Australia has always been a problem. If it is an expensive stamp I just tell the buyer I cannot locate it. Since I accept best offers I will usually decline an Australian buyer and block them. Inexpensive stamped I take a chance. Only stamps on sor not to arrive were also sent to Australia

Wow...that surprises me. No reason for my surprise...just does. Pretty modern free country.
I have had some letters to Australia that went missing, but as a whole, I do not think the situation with the mail there is that bad. At least not in a way to stop accepting orders from Down Under.
One of the problems with Australia over the last year or so is that flights in and out of the country were largely curtailed. This meant that post was suffering long delays. The recent opening up of travel restrictions should see big improvements.
Back in 2020 I bought a nice lot of Indonesia from Argentina ,after around 3 months I hadn't received it ,I notified the seller ,guess what he had the lot returned to him as Argentina Post office were not shipping to Australia .Because of Covid but he didn't bother to let me know,

For international sellers, are there any countries you absolutely will not accept orders on?
Asking for a friend.
