I collect both French and Spanish Andorra, (to 2000, but have been tempted to go to modern post-2000 as well, as they only issue a handful of stamps annually). Andorra is the 6th smallest country in Europe, and it is fun to collect all the very small countries of Europe.
Historically Andorra was established in 1278 with sovereignty shared between the count of Foix (France) and the bishop of Urgel (Spain). It used to be a regular stopover on the road across the Pyrenees Mountains due to its tax free status (and the fact that many goods were contraband, so cheaper). Have driven through it many times, even recall being snow bound in August one time.
I use two Scott specialty albums to house separately the French and Spanish stamps. I have in the past printed Steiner pages as well. For France, I am only missing the 2 high value stamps in the first set, the French O/P on 10F and 20F. The second series with all the landscape stamps is fascinating, with beautiful engravings done by a number of artists. I will post photo scans of early French Andorra. For Spanish Andorra, some of the early stamps seem harder to come by, and I miss a few through 1938.
Have fun if you plan to collect these 2 areas, although I have noted some fairly steep price increases for the early higher priced stamps. Has any one noticed that Scott list Spanish Andorra before French Andorra? I wonder why?!

It is always difficult to make sense of Scott's logic, but perhaps it is because the Spanish administration is the oldest?
Wonderful collection by the way!
According to Wikipedia, French is the mother tongue for only 8.9% of the population. For the overwhelming majority it is either Spanish or Catalan.
"Spanish Andorra before French Andorra? I wonder why?!"
I am going to surmise that it is ANDORRA, Spanish Administration, and ANDORRE, French Administration. But then, why didn't Scott write Andorre with and E.
By the way, the principal language spoken in Andorra is Catalan.

Just wondering if anyone has old Andorra/Andorre stamp album pages they aren`t using ? Message me
Album Easy's web site has an album for each, not complete though, but certainly worth a look!
Here is the link to the site BrightonPete mentioned.

Tried to open the files for Andorre/Andorra but they are in code and I`m...not sure how to change that Saved and printed the French but not the Spanish ...but will keep trying
If you click on the file names on the webpage they should download to your computer.
Go to the download button on the browser (should be at the top, probably right side) They are a zip file which if you click on them your computer will open the file.
This should give you 3 files, image, pdf, text. Clicking on the pdf will open the file for viewing or printing. Looks like they may be done for A4 size paper.
You need to download Album Easy. Then open the files in that to create the pdf. Then you can print the pdf, or alter the file to suit what you want. My Album Easy files are different from most I have seen, with extra info for each stamp. It's also strictly ordered chronologically, except for the definitives, which are all over the place!
When I first downloaded Album Easy, I found it daunting, but eventually grew to use it almost exclusively.

Andorra down loaded but for some reason Spain`s Andorre won`t...not sure why
I was able to download it. I had not noticed that some albums, like this one, were exported from World Collector.
Cheryl (2010ccg): Your timing could not be better. I have seldom seen as many Approval and Auction Andorra stamps offered as right now.
And they are going fast, so I expect we have several Andorra collectors here. Nothing beats Approvals when you decide to start a new collection country, (other than picking up a collection on pages).

Just an inquiry... Andorra is an interesting country with 2 separate but interchangeable postal systems (. Spain and France)
Do we have any members who collect Andorra stamps?
Are there stamp pages available for Andorra?
Any info on the stamps of Andorra will be appreciated. Cheryl
