The only thing I notice is that he's playing the guitar left handed, he was ambidextrous so either way should be OK, other than that everything seems right with the stamp that is.
I'm a huge Bowie fan, but far from an authority. That being said, I understand he was naturally left-handed, and wrote with his left, but learned to play the guitar right-handed.
The image is from a Getty copyright (an acrylic print is available through the link below for those who want something larger on their daughter's wall).

Interestingly, in the song Ziggy Stardust is the lyric about his most famous stage persona...
"He played it left hand, but made it too far"

I must say that even for a left handed player using a normal (right-handed) guitar upside down, this is a very peculiar way of playing. On the other hand, it is a nice picture and I think that was the main objective of this photo :-)
What I did notice about the stamp , is a question I was about to ask.
Is there any reason as to why Germany is cancelling their stamps with blue ink ?
I have noticed this on all my cancelled stamps from 2022
Thanks in advance
Blue ink cancels because black ink would obscure the bar codes on the newer German stamps.
Thanks Josh
I'm finding something strange about this David Bowie stamp issued by Germany. Anyone else notice? I've been trying to find the source image on Google with no luck.
