Auctions
I was always under the impression that while Finland is part of the Nordic Countries it is not a Scandinavian country.

What countries are the Stamporama software including in the Scandinavia group besides Denmark, Sweden & Norway?

I've listed Approval Books for Finland under 'Other Western Europe' and noticed that other members have books listed under 'Scandinavia & Baltic States'. Also members are listing books for Iceland under both categories.

When listing auction lots if I choose 'Other Western Europe' the auction program software also ticks off 'Scandinavia & Baltic States'.

Thank you for your anticipated clarification of which category I should use for Finland.

".... What countries are the Stamporama software including in the Scandinavia group besides Denmark, Sweden & Norway? ...."

This is an interesting question. First off "Scandinavia" technically refers to the two countries inhabiting the Scandinavian peninsula divided politically by the Scandinavian Mountain chain.
Traditionally, Denmark, while on the Jutland peninsula of Europe to the south and the island of Zealand as well as nearly 100 smaller isles are included due to the long history of political union with either Norway or Sweden. The people are ethnically and linguistically linked.
Finland is often included despite its Euro-Asian roots due to having been, from the late middle ages up to around the 1700s a Swedish possession. The language is different, and today many Finns speak both Swedish and Finnish, both are considered official languages.
To many historians, as well as most (I think) collectors, Iceland, Greenland, and the Faroes Islands to the west and the Aaland islands to the east are grouped as parts of Scandinavia due to linguistic similarity and long established political unions.
I suppose some might do otherwise and of course that i their choice. To avoid some more or less picky debating they are easily linked as the Nordic Countries.
In some ways it is similar to using the appellation "America" for just one of the several nations that occupy the North American continent. Both Canada and Mexico could lay claim to the title, although I doubt either would care to this week at all.
Personally, I group the three individual nations, Norway, Sweden and Denmark with Greenland, Iceland and the Faroes in three albums and keep Finland stamps in a fourth.
I have the three Baltic nations in a separate album. Linking them all together in a single category as SoR does makes just about as much sense as dividing them further.
I suppose that decision was made when the site was created to avoid excessive Balkanization of the page. Carry that thought a bit further and both Germany and Poland could also be considered "Baltic States."
As to; "... I've listed Approval Books for Finland under 'Other Western Europe' and noticed that other members have books listed under 'Scandinavia & Baltic States'. ...", well, which gets a better response ?
All in all, it is a matter of a personal choice.to collectors and a business choice to the seller.

Approvals
re: Finland - Country Category

I posted a new Finland Approval Book back in July. I was not sure what "category" to select so I went to the Auctions Post An Item - just to see what the system defaults Finland too - so that is what I used. Since Auctions gives you the "system" answer - I use that when I have a question as to what to select since for Approvals it is not automated. Steve

Just in case you want a reason to keep the stamps of these countries together and add a few more: Finland, Sweden, Norway, Denmark, and Iceland are considered (and consider themselves) the Nordic Countries. This also includes Aaland, the Faroe Islands, and Greenland. There is even a Nordic Council.
