I assume it is poor software using a crude filter to remove listings. To me the country of origin of sale is important since if an embargoed country was selling US stamps that would be an intended embargo.
I get that the trade embargo against Cuba, Iran et al is a US policy, and I get that Ebay is a US site, but removing a 1942 used Iran stamp from my listings is idiotic.
I'm not quite sure how a 77 year-old stamp residing in Australia, priced at only $8.50, is a contribution to the Axis of Evil.
Thank goodness they haven't yet worked out that "Spanish Caribbean" is a pseudonym for Cuba!
