Malta is in Scott's volume 4
That's correct, but the sovereign order of Malta is not the same as the Republic of Malta ( or is it still a commonwealth monarchy with Elizabeth as head of state? I have no idea. Wikipedia probably knows)
These are some Sovereign Military Order of Malta..don't know where they would be cataloged.
I don't think Scott recognize Sovereign Military Order of Malta. I checked postbeeld.com
and they seem to have either Michel and or Yvert numbers in some of their listings.

I read that these issues are generally regarded as cinderellas.
This is a link that shows issues from 1966 to 2018. Some "emissione" number are given for the earlier years.

The Sovereign Order of Malta is an organization based in the Vatican. It is independent of the Vatican, and has postal treaties with many countries. It should be recognized (my opinion) by Scott and other catalogs since the stamps are valid and used for international mailing, but this is one of those quirks of Scott.
Steiner provides pages for SOM.
Thanks for the tip on Steiner pages. I still would like to know if there is some catalog listing authority.
Here is one:
https://www.worldstampcatalogues.com/catalogue/unificato-junior-2019/
Followed the link to the seller on Ebay -
they state they do not ship to the US;
you may need to search for another seller for the catalog.
The order ("SMOM" for short) is based in two properties in Rome which have been granted extraterritoriality by the Italian government.
Its website has details of all its stamps since their first issue in 1966:

I stumbled across a souvenir sheet issued by the Sovereign Order of Malta. Scott does not list them but saw some ebay lots with some catalog number. Is there any leading authority for these issues?
