Average $7-$10 the pair. Could be more or less on any given day like any other Philatelic item.
Self-explanatory really. GB Congress sheets from 1940 organized by the Postal History Society whose President at the time was none other than Robson Lowe. Labels or sheets have been issued for each Congress from the inaugural event in 1909 (Manchester). They generally do not come cheap, and many of the early issues are scarce (and beautiful).
The 1940 Congress was due to have been held in London but was moved to the 'safer' venue at Bournemouth on England's South Coast. It was held from May 3rd-May 6th at the Royal Bath Hotel which was the first Hotel in Bournemouth, opened on Queen Victoria's Coronation day in 1838.
Robson Lowe, a resident of Bournemouth also organized a 'Centenary Stamp Exhibition' to celebrate the 100th Birthday of the Penny Black, close by at the Pavilion. This ran from the last day of Congress until May 11th. A souvenir sheet was issued for that event using the same Proof image as the ones on the Congress sheets shown by John.

Wow, I live next door but one to the Royal Bath Hotel and didn't know this bit of it's history (it is now a Hallmark Hotel).
