I think these are a type of local issue from Early Germany - I assume these ones were from Berlin.

I can't find these in Scott's. Are they listed in Michel or another catalog?

I have a used copy of the 10pf Brown, 20pf Green, and 30pf Red.

I may not keep them, so if anyone has a CV on them I'd appreciate it so I can consider whether to trade/sell to someone else who might want them. (Administrator: Not a solicitation to sell).

Many thanks, Dave.

re: Packetfahrt Stamps (Non-Comedic Question)

Information varies.

The company was founded in 1884 delivering parcels and letters from 1886 along with passengers on their Omnibuses !
Your stamp was issued in 1894, one of a set of 10. They stopped delivering letters in 1900 but continued to deliver parcels (and presumably passengers) until 1914.
Delivered to all berlin local areas.
Many other designs exist, later years stamps were overprinted.
Have not found a value.

Londonbus1......of no value at all ! Surprise

Update:

I had to lie down on my desk to see if there was a 'C' or 'K' in 'Actien' on the right side. The desk creaked a little but I do believe I saw a 'C'. The upshot of all that is that it is from a set of 6, NOT a set of 10 !!

Here is a letter card I found once from the same company. There were hundreds of these companies all over Germany during this time frame.

re: Packetfahrt Stamps (Non-Comedic Question)

While I agree with londonbus1 that the text on the right reads ACTIEN-GESELLSCHAFT, I would say that this is Michel number 57, part of a set of 7 issued in 1894/5. Catalog value in the 2005/6 edition is EUR 5 as used. This set does not include a 10 Pf Brown, but that could be Michel # 69, Cat EUR 2.50. And the 30Pf Red could be any of several stamps, mostly cat EUR 5, but one cats EUR 40.

In Horst Muller's catalog of postal stationary of the German private posts, the "Bogen=Brief" that smauggie showed would seem to be catalog number FB3. Catalog value for a used copy is given as EUR 90, but that may be for a copy with the selvage intact. His copy seems to be missing that along the top. Still, very nice!

I wouldn't expect a used letter card to have any selvage.

They were designed to have this torn off on all three sides when the card was opened.

Here's a rather scruffy Greek letter card used in Crete:

Nigel, if I recall correctly, it actually separated where it was glued together. I guess it just wasn't very well glued. I no longer own it though.

In the 2009 version of the Michel special catalogue "Privatpostmarken" it is listed at € 10. Berlin B, Mi. #57, used.
