General Philatelic/Identify This? : Australian kangaroo - imperfected..?

Approvals
I found this kangaroo in an auction lot. My first guess would bee that it is from some postal stationary but the the paper is very thin and almost see-through...
Any ideas?

It's probably from a 1913 wrapper.

BTW, you probably mean "imperforate" rather than "imperfected".
