Any assistance with this would be greatly appreciated as I know there can be a significant difference in CV between the two for several denominations.

I think everybody eventually will develop his/her own preferred method for quickly IDing the inverted frame. My preferred method is similar to what is circled in blue on Jay's website. I find it easier to spot with the unaided eye and easier to remember.
Using the pic provided by Theresa, I've circled in red the area of interest.
On the normal frame, there is a clear gap (Jay calls it a "V") where the branches join.
In the inverted frame, there is no gap and the 2 branches and the leaf appear to join at the same spot (Jay calls it an "X").
Many of my Denmark and DWI in question are used stamps, and so I have to deal with cancels obscuring the ornaments in the upper left corner. You can use alternative methods, like Jay's "line" method, or note that --
1. ornaments at left corners are the same (likewise ornaments at right corners match)
2. thus, ornaments at opposite corners are different
3. and, ornaments at top corners are different (as well as ornaments at bottom corners)
If the top left corner is obscured, you can rotate the stamp 180º and either the "normal frame will become inverted frame" or the "inverted frame will become normal frame".
If you get really adept at it, you can properly ID any corner without having to physically rotate the stamp.

I have a question for the Denmark collectors here on SOR -- I am having difficulty telling the difference between the "regular frame" and the "inverted frame" varieties on the Denmark early numeral stamps. The illustration in Scott is very poor, and I really can't see the difference.
Any assistance with this would be greatly appreciated as I know there can be a significant difference in CV between the two for several denominations.
