I know this is a common stamp, but does the 18,00 attachment make it any more collectible?

to some, yes.

some of us prefer our stamps to have the attached selvage; others not. it's not likely to increase the price, but might increase the chance of it being bought. Myself, given a choice of with or without selvage, all other things being equal, i'll always choose WITH selvage

For specialized collectors in Germany, your stamp has a value of 2.4 - 3 Euros (Michel edition 2019)
The stamps were printed on normal paper (x paper) or fluorescent paper (y paper), rotary printed (W) or flat (P) and in sheet (10x10), sheet for booklets or coil.
Your stamp after the mark on the top edge is printed rotation - on normal or fluorescent paper.

The Michel has a katalog value for upper selvage (rotary print) normal paper, used +600%, MNH +400%. For fluorescent paper, used €3, MNH €1.
