Another frustrating day.
Deegam defines value tablet positions for all Machins and since I had bunch of the 3p ultramarine I would spend some time checking. Of course, trying to check for measurements at two decimal places can be tough with a scale in 0.5mm increments. Therefore, I used my USB microscope and calibrated it at the set magnification so I could get better measurements. In this process, I determined my USB microscope platform is not parallel to the camera (diving board type platform) so that was adding to mess as I tried to get a consistent process. I used PerfoMASTER400 to double check and was getting reasonable matches.
In the end, I was not getting measuresments matching Deegam, So, I contacted Deegam (Hanns) and he stated that the tablet position can vary from what the catalog shows and can vary across the SAME sheet.
Conclusion - I have given up studying tablet position but I did nail down my method to measure stamps close to two decimal places.
3p positons includes ultramarine, rose red, and regionals

Measurements using USB microscope measuring tool. In this example, the vertical measurement is off about 0.2 mm due to calibration was done horizontally. I ended up with supporting the flimsy diving board type platform (less flexible) and put the calibration scale diagonally.
