Most of the large format printers can get rather costly.
I have the Canon Pro 9000 Mk II and it serves me well but to buy a new one would set back almost $800. Of course mine's a much older one and wasn't that much back in the day.

I use a Canon Pixma Pro 100 which I purchased on sale about 5 years ago for $275. Unfortunately they are now priced at over $900. However, there are several much less expensive printers available if you don't need photographic quality.
The Epson Workforce Pro WF-7310 (13x19 in sheet size) is $199.99 on Amazon.
Canon TS9521C All-In-One Wireless Crafting Photo Printer, 12X12 Printing is $199 on Amazon.

If you are interested in printing album pages on paper larger than Letter or A4 size, I have found a reasonably priced source on Amazon with free shipping for prime members. The paper is 12x12 inch, 176 gsm, cream color, acid free and lignin free. Note: acid free paper tends to become acidic over time if it contains lignin. The paper can be trimmed to Scott specialty size (10x11.5"), Scott International size (9.75x11.5"), or other sizes having a long dimension less than 12 inches. The cost is $.16 per sheet.
