Quick question, on the first image there are additional figures after the catalogue number, I thought perhaps they were issue dates, but seems not. Can someone enlighten me?
As I also came across a mess of Great Americans thought I would also sort them and stick them on pages.
Missing a couple of these as well, amazing what comes out of the old boxes.

Is the first page really a Steiner page? I looked and could not find the page.
The 1980 series is called Great Americans.

I must not be seeing the file that has the first page.
I see 3 files related to precancels. The remainder are in the regular pages. I also see pnc files but not in there either.

My Steiner disc is from 2013, I think.
Page 1 above is page 99 of precancels3.
Pages 2,3,4 are from the regular US 1990 file, being pages 2,3,51.
Edit to add,
sorry about getting the series name incorrect, I have amended it to Great Americans, not sure where I got the famous from.

The 1940 US series probably, Scott's #1859 to # 1893.

Having dug out a bunch of these I thought I would see how complete the issues were. Quite a few missing, but some duplicated over the Steiner pages.
