Looks like computer vended postage.
Thanks, I would like to at least confirm the year of issue of each
The International Postage Meter Stamp Catalog lists both as examples of metered postage, i.e. "Stamps generated by machines used only in post offices" for regular mail.
Question to our Dutch friends: Were the same labels were used for ATM stamps and counter labels, similar to what could be observed in France?
Jan Martin,
That site is an EXCELLENT resource of information!
Thanks for posting the link - it is now in my favorites!
That is a great site.
They will go in (somewhere) as post office meter postage then, not from a self-service ATM machine.
Thank you

Just to show what I meant re: France - the item with the Paris postmark is an ATM, the one from Nice is a counter label (metered postage). Both were printed on the same sort of self-adhesive label.
Looking for some info on these. Colnect has the red/orange one as a ATM test or experimental issue of 2001, found 1 or 2 other hits with less info. I have nothing on the second. They were in with some unsoakables and ATM stamps accumulated over the last year or so.
Thank you,
Brian
