Was hoping to go on Sunday but can`t as I have company arriving for a meal...so guess I`m cooking not stamping.... There are a few going from Bridgewater....Cheryl
Hi Meghan,
I'll be there. In fact will be leaving home soon. Plan on wearing comfortable shoes if you're planning on viewing the displays. Have and stay on budget. Don't be overwhelmed.

Quite a bit to see is there? I have only been to one stamp event before and that was in New Minas a couple months ago, a lot smaller I think that what I can expect on Sunday. (And I could have spent the whole day there just talking to people and looking through stamps for sale, I don't know what I'm going to do with myself on Sunday! )
Hi Meghan,
Just got back. Didn't get through half of the exhibits and only quickly perused the dealer tables. It's going to be a couple of long days. For a list of dealers and other information check out:

I did check out the page. I'm not familiar with most of the dealers but I do look forward to checking them out.
Well I had a blast! I got to see a lot of great vendors and found some awesome stamps for my collection. (Including dinosaurs which I find rather elusive). Also decided to start on another topical area = Girl Guides/Girl Scouts. I was involved in Guiding for over 13 years as I was growing up. When I found a Lord Baden Powell stamp in a topical binder I just knew I had to have it. And a new topical interest was born.
And that is what it is all about......
Well done Meghan. I'm glad to had a great time. Mind you, it is hard for a stamp collector not to have a great time at these big stamp shows. I love them.
Regards ... Tim
Just noticed this thread! I attended as well. Great stamp exhibits especially (i) Ron Brigham's pre-Confederation (1 pane with about a several 12 penny blacks including 2 mint pairs and the unique mint block of Canada no. 1 and (ii) the St. Pierre & Miquelon exhibits which were outstanding!!!! However, I spent far too much money.
Just wondering if anyone else is planning to attend the Royal Stamp Convention in Halifax. I plan to go on Sunday and have a look around. Will any other Stamporama members be there? Anyone who has gone before? I've never been and am wondering what I can expect.
