Score another victory for PURE CITRUS. I have noticed that almost every s/a 2012 GB Olympic stamp I saw was on paper. I just recently purchased several stamps of that issue and they were all on paper.

I HATE mounting stamps in my collections with paper on the back. This really bugs me.

SO! I selected one stamp and sprayed it with PURE CITRUS. I left it for three or four minutes and then slowly removed the stamp from the paper. Using an extra perforation guage I removed the gum from the back of the stamp. I used a little more PURE CITRUS on the stamp to remove the excess gum. It then was allowed to dry and let the PURE CITRUS evaporate. I looked at the stamp this morning and it is perfect, no smell and no stains.

SO GB s/a 2012 Olympic stamps can be removed from paper.
Score another for PURE CITRUS. I have not found a stamp that PURE CITRUS will not remove from paper. Every used collector needs a can of PURE CITRUS.

If anyone wants more info on this drop me a line.

Lyall I've been using that for a couple of years now to remove paper from the back of stamps that I want to put in my albums.

Works great!

Pure Citrus ?
I googled it and came up with ...
An air freshener,
a colon cleansing medicianal,
and a cleaning spray.
Could you elaborate more?
All three of the products above could actually
be necessary if one were ill, but removing
paper has never given me that particular problem.

My secret may well be Pure Citrus, we will find out
shortly, as I know where there is a retailer within
five blocks that stocks this regularly.
Thanks to all for the information.
Not that I really want to play with all these US flags.....
