I can send you the relevant Michel pages. Pretty valuable stamps, if they are genuine.

Holy cow is right, but...NIGHTMARE?!!!

If those came into my hands, you'd have to peel me off the ceiling and I wouldn't care what order they were in or what number had been assigned to them!!!

That is one gorgeous page full of stamps!!Thumbs Up

Jansimon mentioned they would be valuable "if genuine." Is there a note in the Michel catalog that these stamps were reprinted or forged?

re: stamp collector's nightmare

Much as it is "not done" to mention the antipodeian board - there is a thread on there called "Banging the Drum for the Uglies" which will tell you all you want ( and much of what you don't want) to know about these issues - and the guy who writes it I reckon knows more about these stamps than Scott, Gibbons and Michel combined. I would be more inclined to take his view as gospel ( especially on the smaller states) than any of the major catalogues. My advice is to find the appropriate part of the thread for the state in question and go through it with a fine tooth comb ( yes folks I comb my teeth!).

Malcolm

PS I have no axe to grind here - they all look the same to me !!

Malcolm,
I tried to search on antipodeian board and the only listings I found were pages on pharmaceuticals and guinea pigs, among other unrelated topics.

Do you have a link for that one? Seems interesting.

Thanks,
Bruce
