I found some of them, but not the last
they are
531, 8y, CV 6.00
539, 8y, 8.75
540 24y, 9.00
542, 2y, 2.10
prices are for singles, from my 2009 catalogue. I don't know if there's a premium for sheets or MNH.
David
Thanks David !!
I've been bouncing around the web for a couple of days looking for
accurate info and you kick it out in just a few minutes.
Thanks again for the help.
Phil
no problem Phil, happy to help.
please note that my prices quoted are a couple of years old AND they refer to mint SINGLES not sheets
David
What beautiful material!
I happened to have a Scott 2014 handy, and the good news is that the prices have gone up a little!
So, here are the catalog numbers & prices in the order in which you presented them.
531 $7.50/per stamp
542 $2.50/ "
540 $10.50/ "
539 $10.00/ "
447 $4.00/ "
All these were issued after the Scott prices shift over to mnh, so any mnh premium would already be reflected in the catalog values.
As for the value of entire sheets, I don't know what to tell you. I'm familiar with 3 Japanese catalogs, and none of them values whole sheets except for certain items, but not generally.
Except for the last one, the other stamps are part of either the National Parks series or the Scenic Spots issues, so it's not like more common material from, say, the 1960's. So, if there are no perf separation issues, I would handle them really carefully and gently to keep them intact.
Thanks for showing them!

Thanks for the updated info Dave,
They are very fresh. They were wrapped
with rice paper, which I was originally
interested in, as I do some book repair
to keep my fingers busy, and good quality
older rice paper is a premium.
I appreciate the info !

I just checked through my JSDA catalog and they don't show any sheets as shown above. Sorry, no help here.

Mike, Dave and David,
Thanks again for the help.
My wife Bobbie, collects US sheets, and has
for the past 30 years or so. She had always
thought I was one of the tough guys from the
bad side of the tracks, had hot rods, long hair,
etc etc, until I asked her to marry me.
Then she found out about my comic book
collection, my old time radio shows, and
of course, my stamp collection.
These may end up in her dresser.
Phil
Found these in a folder I inherited.
IF I could ask please, as I do not have anything but Scott US catalogues,
if anyone could identify and near value of the following five sheets ?
I don't collect Japan, but these are nifty to examine.
