Hi Everyone,
Just want to let you know about some more enhancements that I have put in this weekend.

1. Changes to the Invoice Line Item sort order. Everyone has their own way of organizing and processing Auction Lots and Approval Items. The volume of the Items sold in the Approvals has strained the way the existing tools supported the process. Depending on whether you are predominately Auction focused or Approvals focused, you will want to organize the filling of the invoices in different orders. To this end, I have added an extra flag in the Members Profile (use Edit function in the Members Area), in the Auction area, that lets you set the default sort sequence for the Invoice Line Items. You can select; Closing Date, Lot Number or Description. The default is Description. If you are focusing on the Approvals this will probably work best for you. If you are organized more around the Auction, then the Closing Date or the Lots Number sequence may work better. If you are focusing on both the Auctions and the Approvals, then when you print the Invoice, you can change the sort sequence of the Invoice Lines by clicking on the column headings.

2. Also on the Invoice Print program, Ralph mentioned that the Closing Date was rapping around onto a second line. I have expanded the room available for the Closing Date, so please let me know if it is still rapping around and causing your printer to print 2 lines for each Invoice Line.

3. I've changed the sorting options in the Approvals so that you have more options. The New Books list will still list Books that have been created in the last 4 days, but the default sorting is by Sold Percentage.

4. I have added extra buttons so that it is easier for you to see all the Books offered by a particular seller.

5. We had a request from one of our non-US members to make it clearer when a seller will accept Paypal or not. If a seller don't not have the Paypal option setup in the Stamporama system the following image will be displayed at the top of each Page in the Approval Books.

Image Not Found

This doesn't necessarily mean that the seller doesn't take Paypal, it just means that you should check their Payment Terms. If the image doesn't appear at the top of the Approvals page (in the Cost per Page row, on the left) then the Seller has their Paypal settings activated in the Stamporama system.

So unless you find any problems with these changes, and please let me know if you find things that are not working properly, It's back to Minnesota Covers for me for a while. Surprise

Regards ... Tim.

Mr Tim Auld:

As a bidder on our auction board, I thank you for these changes as they will be helpful to me.
