I would be suspicious of the overprints on the stamps in your image. The printing doesn't seem sharp and clear, and seems to be a bit larger than the genuine overprint. Also, on one of your stamps, the "7" is mangled. This wouldn't happen with the genuine overprint. I don't have the high valued stamps, but below is an image of a lower valued one from the set with a genuine overprint. Also, check the cancels on the stamps where the cancel overlaps the overprint. If the overprint is printed on top of the cancel, there would be no doubt the overprint is fake.
Thank you for your input.

Hi All,
Picking some stamps for a trade friend, I came across some used Venezuela Airmails I have. 1937 20 Bolivares with an Overprint "RESELLADO 1937-1938" The 2001 scott catalog lists the overprint variety at $37.50 and the non overprint variety at $14.00. There is a note under the C78 that says "Counterfeit overprints exist on # C77 and C78"
So my question is: Does anyone know of an on-line reference about the fake overprints? I'd like to be able to tell if I have the real thing or if I have a counterfeit overprint.
A picture of what I have on photobucket:

Any help is appreciated!
