Interesting. I am beginning to get some CSA issues -(only have 3 so far). My biggest fear is not knowing what I'm buying. Hard to tell if it's real or fake unless you have a seller you know & trust.

Recently I bought a complete set of mint pairs of the Confederate States of America from a fellow SOR member. Actually, both the seller and I realize that these stamps were not real. They were either poor reprints or complete fakes (they are now labelled as such). I thought it would be interesting to show where the pairs might have originated. From the quality of the paper and the quality of the stamp impression, these are obviously fakes. I acquired these in a collection of miscellaneous stuff I got at the end of a long auction.
