re: Please ID unknown stamps - Thailand

These look like Thailand Official stamps. Unfortunately I can't read Thai.

Jacques is correct, they are from Thailand and issued 1Oct1963. From left to right, using Scott catalog numbers:

#O6, 2 baht
#O4, 50 satangs
#O3, 25 satangs

By the way, the stamps as shown in your picture are actually upside-down. Laughing

Thank you!

It is difficult to ID those stamps with only local language, and even no any
language just numbers. Is there any way to guide stamps colletctors to ID those stamps quickly? At Wits End Peter

There is an Illustrated Identifier in the back of the Scott catalogs that may be of some assistance -- it contains an image of a stamp similar to those you posted in the Thailand section.

Two other resources that may be of assistance (but that aren't necessarily "quick") are:

The ISWSC Worldwide Stamp Identifier at http://www.iswsc.org/iswsc_ident.html

The Foreign Stamp Identifier at http://www.stampmasteralbum.com/ForeignCountryIdentifier/KeywordIndexA.htm

Thank you all very much!

Throw out a brick to get a jade. I have experienced the famous proverbs several times in the forum of StampoRama !

The two websites are very handy. They’ll save me a lot of time. I am thinking it won’t happen for me to upload stamps upside-down here next time.
