Kiwi:
It would help immeasurably if you would define "globalization" .
Out of context, the term is meaningless.

OK. True, the subject is very vast. You can split it in many sub-subjects. Lets say that within the subject I will have to find possible stamps around those following ideas:
-Maquilladoras
-Borders that tend to "vanish" economically between countries
-The example of some economic unions like NAFTA in northern American countries.
I've also got the above stamp; see what I can do with that one. Thanks.
Kiwi: Are you referring to the "New World Order"?
Hi Ted. Yes that would be a more appropriate term.I dought there are stamps on that though....
Maybe United Nations issues?
-Les
Yes, I suppose I might be a bit more lucky with UN issues. Search, search and search...This is what makes this hobby is so interesting!
Kiwi: I used to wonder why so many people abused animals. Then I thought about it, and considering how many people abuse other people, then it's no wonder that abusing animals is easy for some people. Ted.
Wouldn't stamps relating to Globalisation - include things such as telecommunications, fighting poverty, social justice, etc.? There are definitely many stamps that incorporate these themes. You might consider going through the catalogue and identifying "International Year of...." issues. Once you make a list of them, then you can better choose and eliminate issues that fit your definition of globalisation.
Choosing the "International Year of..." issues, also gives you the opportunity to see what issues are prominent in different parts of the world or various countries. It provides a chance to compare those that are of importance during the different eras, such as the cold war.
Just a thought ...
