You would have a lot more success if you would scan a few of your covers as examples and post them in the "Let's Trade" section of the discussion board.

A cover with 2 of my personalized stamps, that I mailed to a friend in Romania.
I made one of my Lobo (lost him 1 year ago today). My wife and son had the photo I used for the stamp printed on a t-shirt for and gave it to me for a Christmas present. I had no idea that they were doing that. Total surprise. First time I ever cried on Christmas.
Anyway, that was the first personalized stamp I ever made, and I was surprised at how easy it was to do. I plan to make some stamps of my model railroad. I just wish it didn't cost so much to do this, which is about double the price of postage. I guess that's the vanity price.
They are easy to create, so there's no challenge there. I think the thrill is in finding them properly used on cover. I have a few sent to us on invitations. The last one that comes to mind is from our neighbor's son's high school graduation. The stamp has a picture of Michael when he was maybe three!
And yes, that collection will probably be on odd sized envelopes, like wedding invitations, other cards and such!
BenFranklin1902, if "covers with personalized stamps are easy to create", then how are covers with regular stamps, printed in up to millions of copies?
I guess this would fit under topical...its amazing how easy it is to start a new topic to collect...i started receiving personalized stamps on cover from other collectors and now i have a mini collection !
