How many of us attended the colossal show ? I used to think the mega shows at the Javits center and Madison Sq. Garden were huge until i looked down on the floor of the Washington show the night before...it was a great few days with the Memorial Day show on the Capitol grounds thrown in !!!

Alas, this is a sore point for me, philb, even though there is a silver lining.

I had hoped to attend my FIRST International Expo in 2006.

Stamps that I'm looking for identified - check!

Funds accumulated - check!

Wife's pregnancy test - oops!

We just got our son (born in May 2006) up on waterskis this week, so we're very happy about that, but I must insist that no more children be born in my family until I get to an International Expo! (We'll see how that plan works out).

Hey Larsdog, i at least appreciate your response..with 2 thousand members i thought someone might have memories of it. I can tell you that the APS sponsored shows are always great if there is ever one happening in your area...i attend the shows now that the kids are grown and gone...you will have something to look forward to !
