#158 comes in a bluish green shade
#207 is blue green

I can't tell which stamp it is. My guess would be 158. Not in the greatest condition, so with all the wear and tear on the stamp, probably also some fading.

Perhaps a bit of a color changeling... I don't know if we could ever tell what chemical or UV exposure would do, or perhaps impacts of storage conditions.

"Changeling" was my thought when I saw it.
It would be neat if it was an error, though changeling is much more likely.

Just so happens that I found a blue Washington amongst a batch of 1c Franklin Banknotes. I would assume it to be chemical. Most of the 3c Washington Banknotes have been exposed to sunlight off and on for the 140+ years that they have been around.

I would say it is a 184. The frame around the right side Washington's bust is too wide to be a #207.
