Can anyone recommend stamp stores in or near Los Angeles?
Thanks,

Bruce:

If you intend to visit stamp shops in greater LA by vehicle, then let me rain on your May day parade by briefly
recounting my experiences two months ago, March 2013.

Traffic in Los Angeles is a horror. The typical opening sentence of an LA motorist is, "If I get good traffic, I"ll be there in (X hours) and (Y minutes)". Gasoline downtown was listed at $4.34.+/gal.

Your savings on fuel alone will buy a lot of postage stamps on the internet.

John Derry

P.S. My GPS map was three-years' old and dangerous to heed - absolutely overtaken by asphalt.

Hi John,
Thanks for the caveat. Just a long shot request, hoping that maybe there might be some interesting places within the range of public transport.

Bruce,

A collector friend of mine who lives in Southern California happened to see your thread. He tells me there are a few 1-day shows in the Los Angeles area. He can provide you with a schedule if you think you might be interested.

I will email you his email address, and you can decide whether or not to contact him.
