While I had a strong desire to make the trip last month, to the Caves with the APS group, I did not manage to do so due to reasons beyond my control. I have been in some of these man made caves in Kansas City, like the ones the Fulfillment center are in, but it was down on the Missouri river bottom land, not up where the center is located.

Anyway, I thought maybe some of you would like to see what the KC Fulfillment center looks like and this article appeared in the American Philatelist magazine so I wanted to share it.

And this is more cost efficient than having a philatelic window or section in post offices? wonder what the rent is, $5 million a year?
