Charlotte,
Thanks for refreshing everyone's memory about this project. I have another packet almost ready to send them, probably next week, after I add more to it.
Some of the kids do have some talent, with the artwork, don't they?
Mike
Hi Charlotte,
While you are about nine million stamps short of your goal of eleven million yet, you are now only 10,999,995 postings away from 11,000,000 threads soliciting for the project.

Many thanks, Martyn! Please include a note that references you read about the Project here on Stamporama..and that you are a repeat donor. It's made a huge difference having members support the collection efforts!
2,035,954. That's how many stamps (!) have been collected in four years by the students and volunteers working on the Holocaust Stamps Project at Foxborough Regional Charter School in Massachusetts.

The goal of this stamps-based educational inititiative is to demonstrate the enormity of what happened during World War II when rampant prejudice, discrimination, segregation, disrespect, and bullying led to the senseless, cruel deaths of 11 million innocent men, women and children from numerous cultural and religious backgrounds.
As the stamps are collected, students are using thousands of them to create 18 x 24 inch stamps collage artworks that illustrate some of their newfound knowledge about the Holocaust and its impact on people's lives. Please visit the website to see photos and descriptions of the collages - they're amazing!
The Holocaust Stamps Project relies on a growing network of supporters to keep it moving towards its ambitious goal of collecting one stamp to honor each of the 11 million lives lost. In November, 2012 reaching the 1.5 million mark meant that the number of Jewish children who perished were represented the stamps collected so far.
Stamps arrive daily from across the country. YOUR HELP would bring the Project closer to its goal sooner, rather than later! Please see the website for contact info.
Thanks!!!!!
