Hi Pat,
Yes you have the option of placing them on hold. As you go the the upload process you'll see what I mean.

Thanks Tim.
So, I'd like to say that the Bulk Upload Utility is a very cool addition to the auction, especially if you're anal retentive about your inventory like me and keep it all documented by Excel spreadsheet. It worked very well for me and I couldn't be happier with this piece.
A couple of pointers that I'd like to make based on my own mistakes and rustiness with using a CSV file...
1) Avoid comas in any of your descriptive texts as it will just confuse the system which is based on Comma Separated Values (CSV).
2) Apparently, apostrophes are not recognized either so avoid them if you can. I'm now having to go through 100 some lots to correct the word "I've".
Thanks again to the Web wizards for implementing it.

Just press CTRL + H (= replace) and change all "I've" with "I have" in one swoop.
So for the new year, I've spent the last two weeks retooling my Excel inventory spreadsheet that keeps track of items that I plan to sell so that I can easily copy and paste and make a CSV file that's compatible with the Auction Lot Upload Utility. I was planning on giving it a try this coming Friday.
When the Bulk Upload is done, do those lots automatically go live? Or can they be set to be on hold for a final review? Thanks.
